Liebe Freunde!

Heute ist inzwischen der 28.Juli und ich werde morgen nach Leon kommen!

Bin inzwischen die Haelfte des spanischen Weges glaufen und die letzten 300km liegen vor mir.

Der Weg ueber die Pyraenaen war wundervoll und Pamplona und Burgos waren besondere Staedte auf dem Weg. Bin die letzten Tage durch die Meseta gelaufen, eine Hochebene mit viel Weizenfeldern und langen Strecken ohne Doerfer.

Bin seit laengereZeit immer mit anderen Pilgern gemeinsam unterwegs und auch in Spanien immer noch vor allem mit Franzosen unterwegs :-) Die Pilgerschar in Spanien ist sehr gross und international und bunt gemischt von allen Altersgruppen, auch das Angebot fuer Pilger ist enorm und manchmal vermisse ich die etwas besinnlichere Atmosphaere und das engere Miteinander in der Pilgergemeinschaft von Frankreich, aber jeder Teil des Weges hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme und Sinn.

Bin seit Spanien im Hochsommer (immer so ca. 30-35 Grad) unterwegs, heute ist seit langem mal wieder einen kuehler Tag und es hat geregnet.

Bin wie bisher geapnnt, was der Camino die letzten 300km bereit haelt, aber ich habe gelernt, er bringt genau das, was dran ist und ansteht :-)

Dear friends!

Today is the 28th of Juli and tomorrow I walk to Leon. I by now passed the middle of the Spanish Camino frances and the last 300km begin!

I had a great time walking in Basque country and walking over the Pyrenees! I walked through Pamplona and Burgos and the last days through the Meseta - a lot of fields, long ways without villages and little towns to stay at night. Even I am now in Spain i am still in good company with French Pilgrims, and I enjoy walking with people I know for a long time. Around us are many other pilgrims from all over the world, old and young. Sometimes I miss the more meditative atmosphere and the closer community of pilgrims froms France, but every part of the way has its own beauty!

Since Spain, and already before, we walk with a lot of sun and 30-35 degrees, starting at 6 o clock in the morning. Today it was colder again and i miss all the warm cloth I send home :-)

I am excited what the last part of my pilgrimage will teach me, but i have learned here, that the way shows and brings you, what is meant to be for you!

I am enjoying the company of lovely pilgrim friends and also greet all of you who share my way here on the homepage and thinking of me and writing me! Thank you also fo your company!
